한 남자가 비행기에서 '임신한 엄마'에게 보인 호의에 승객들이 울었다고 합니다. 미국 미니애폴리스에서 애틀랜타로 향하는 비행기에서 '안젤라 버드'라는 이름의 여성은 '매우 감동적인' 장면을 하나 목격했습니다.

On a flight back to Georgia, this man, who was a stranger to this woman, offered to help her because she was pregnant and alone on the flight and her son was upset and fussy.

 

He told her that he was a DAD, and wanted to help her so she could rest. He walked the aisle most of the flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta comforting this woman's son as if he was his own.

 

I was in tears… not because he was white and she was black...but because it showed me today that there are still .

이 남자가 전혀 모르는 여성에게 호의를 베풀었어요. 임신한 여성 분이었는데 비행기에 혼자 탄 데다, 아들이 울기까지 했거든요. 그 여성 분이 아주 힘들어 보이니까, 이 남자분이 나선 거죠.

 

이 남자분은 자신도 '아빠'라고 하더군요. 어떤 상황인지 아니까, 도와주겠다고. 자기가 아들을 봐줄 테니까, 좀 쉬라고 하면서 말이어요 남자분은 애틀랜타로 향하는 내내 거의 통로에 서서 낯선 여성의 아이를 봐줬어요. 마치 자기 아들인 것처럼 말이에요.

 

정말 눈물이 났습니다. 이 혼란스러운 세상에도, 여전히 좋은 사람이 있다는 걸 제 눈으로 보았으니까요.
